Conveniently Cozy: The Inn at Fulton Harbor
One of the things I look for when picking out a place to stay on my travels is how closely its located to the things I want to do. As much as I love driving and taking road trips, when I have reached my destination, the last thing I want to do is worry about parking issues, getting lost, and wasting time on the road. Plus, getaways are about relaxation, right? So, the less I must drive, the better I can enjoy myself. I spent a few days in Rockport, Texas about a week ago and stayed at The Inn at Fulton Harbor. The Inn was cozy and conveniently close to everything on our agenda and more. We literally walked to most of the things we did while we were there. 
The Inn at Fulton Harbor faces the marina, the Aransas Bay and pool area of the inn. Between the lushness of the tropical courtyard where the pool is at and the location of the inn, there is never a time you do not have a scenic view. Our rooms were big, homey, and cozy. I love that we had a small kitchenette to store and keep our snacks, drinks, and leftovers cool and a dining set we could sit at and sip our coffee comfortably. The beds were plush and soft which made it easy to sleep in and the separate bath and vanity area came in handy when mom and I were trying to get ready for our day at the same time. 
While we were visiting Rockport, we had a full agenda of fun in the sun and where The Inn at Fulton Harbor is located, we were pretty much close to most it. Dolphin watching, bird watching, a sunset cruise, kart rentals, fine dining, drinks by the water, boat ramp, fishing, walks on a pier, and souvenir shopping is all walking distance from the inn. The Inn can accommodate both the business, pleasure, and family-friendly traveler with its spacious non-smoking rooms, large meeting room, and continental breakfast.
