30 Ways a Broken Heart Can Be Healed

These days it seems quite a few friends are going through breakups and that heartbroken feeling has got them feeling a bit blue.  Its awful to see someone suffer from a broken heart; its hard to go through it yourself too.  But, there are ways a broken heart can be healed. A friend of mine was having a bad day and a girl moment missing her ex boyfriend. As she was crying, she says, “What am I going to do without him?” Now, I know it’s easy to get use to having someone by your side, but when going through a breakup, there are lots of things you can do for yourself that will help heal your heart by keeping you busy, in good productive ways.  Trust me, I have gone through the awful pain of heartache myself. Here is a list of 30 Ways to Help Heal a Broken Heart; these are some of the things I did that helped me in the healing process.

  1. STOP CRYING!
  2. Mediate
  3. Hang out with old friends
  4. Make new friends
  5. Strengthen family bonds
  6. Go after that job you’ve always wanted
  7. Take classes
  8. Tend to the hobbies & passions you didn’t have time for
  9. Take a scenic drive
  10. Visit museums, art galleries, or historical sites
  11. Plan a girl’s picnic
  12. Take fitness classes
  13. Go for walks at a nearby track or park
  14. Pamper yourself at home with a bubble bath
  15. Catch up on the latest books
  16. Join a singles group
  17. Join in activities at your community church
  18. Try new foods and restaurants
  19. Make lists of short term and long term goals
  20. Keep a journal of your daily thoughts, ideas, and bucket list ideas

As tough as breakups are, use that alone time wisely and do things for YOU.  Use the time to learn more about yourself, do things you love, try new things, and grow as an individual.
