San Antonio Band, The Buddy System at Fiesta Oyster Bake

This past weekend at the Oyster Bake, our friends and family were excited and proud to watch, Dez And Greg and The Buddy System perform on the 96.1 stage; the same stage where Sean Paul performed on later that evening. The local San Antonio band blew the crowd away as they played some of the latest and greatest tunes. With power vocalists Dez Segura, RB Arredondo, and Clarissa Yvette, Greg Galindo on guitar, Steve Coronado on bass, and Steve Rodriguez on drums, playing songs like “Treasure” by Bruno Mars, “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B, and “Como la Flor” by Selena, you couldn’t help but dance and get your Fiesta evening going.

The Oyster Bake’s mission is to produce a quality, volunteer-driven, Fiesta® San Antonio approved music festival to raise funds for student scholarships to St. Mary’s University, and to support the University and the Alumni Association.

The Buddy System’s festive energy is sure to get any place in a party mood; with the different styles of each “buddy”, the heart they pour into every performance, and of course, their undeniably musical skills, you will instantly want to attend their next show. The Buddy System originally started about 6 years ago by Greg Galindo and RB Arredondo and has since then blossomed into a “system” of some of San Antonio’s best musicians.

When you meet any of the “buddies”, you will feel like you have known them your whole life. All are down to earth and love to make others feel good with their music. Due to their following growing on social media and their shows, they will be featured on a radio appearance this fall and recently featured on San Antonio’s “Great Day SA“. For the past year, vocalist Dez Segura and guitarist Greg Galindo have been working on original tracks with lyricist/poet, Curtis Platt and will soon be releasing their album.
