Home Spa Treatments

Use these beauty spa treatment secrets at home to pamper yourself with the luxurious feeling of smooth and healthy skin, hair, and nails.

For Deep Clean & Shiny Hair – Make a vinegar rinse by mixing one and a half cups of water with one half cup apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray your (dry) roots with this mixture and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly. You can add a few drops of fruity or light floral essential oil to add a nice scent and eliminate vinegar smell.

Use once a week.

Exfoliate & Moisturize with an Oatmeal Mask – Make a facial beauty mask by mixing 1/2 cup each of oatmeal and plain whole milk yogurt; Spread the mixture on your face and relax for 15 minutes; rinse.

Use once or twice a week.

Hydrate & Condition your Nails – Mix 1 cup of olive oil with 2 cups of sugar (yes, sugar!) and rub all over your hands and nails, especially the cuticles. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wipe of with a warm, damp washcloth.

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants to strengthen nails; sugar helps to remove dead skin around your cuticles.

Give your Feet a Refreshing Bath – Soak your feet in cool brewed black tea for 30 minutes. Tannins in the tea help reduce sweating and odor. The cool soak leaves your feet feeling extra fresh!

Treat your Body to an Invigorating Scrub – Mix a cup of olive oil with a cup of sugar, sea salt, or coffee grounds (for exfoliation) and 2 tablespoons of honey. Rub a small amount of this mixture into your skin before showering once a week.
