Social media connecting me with childhood friends, my love to drive and be on the road, and share with my following has brought me to a new adventure. I will be sharing not only my travels, places I visit, but also about what it taking me there. Being that I am usually the driver on my adventures, I find it fun and fascinating to try out different type of vehicles; thanks to Castroville Chevrolet and my buddy Eddie, I get to do just that.  Growing up in a Chevrolet loving family, collaborating with the dealership makes it extra special. I have never owned a car in my life; trucks and suvs have been my thing, so getting into the 2016 Chevy Malibu was a bit out of my norm. Excited to try something different, as I got on the highway heading into San Antonio from Castroville, I instantly noticed how smooth and comfortable the ride was.

Castroville Chevrolet is a proud Chevy dealer near Hondo, Texas with a premium inventory of new and used Chevy vehicles for their shoppers to choose from. From the new Chevy Silverado and Chevy Camaro to a great selection of used cars and trucks, Castroville Chevrolet is positive that they’ll have what you’re looking for. Take a look at their inventory and when you’re ready, contact them to schedule a test drive in person. Call Eddie (210-289-5414) and ask about the latest deals.

The spacious midsized sedan handled well on the road all around; from the long distances out of town to the short ones in the city, I not only felt safe, but was surprised how lightweight the car was; its classy sleek look definitely turned heads when I drove it downtown. The 4 door Malibu easily seats 5 passengers with plenty of leg and head room which makes traveling long distances nice and cozy. (Great on gas by the way.) The techie and business woman in me has to have a car equipped with technology and the Malibu comes with just that.  Chevrolet MyLink with Android Apple and Apple CarPlay compatibility organizes your smartphone features on a 7-inch high-resolution color touch screen display. Managing phone calls, listening to my favorite tunes, and making sure I took the quickest route to my destinations was easily managed from the driver’s seat.

Other cool features I enjoyed about the car was the rear-view camera, cruise control, the ABS breaking system (especially when I drove in the rain to a media event.), the LED daytime lights, its roomy trunk, and the OnStar feature. All in all, I enjoyed driving the 2016 Chevy Malibu. In my opinion, its perfect for the business professional that travels long distances often, the family that isn’t into doing many outdoorsy activities, someone that needs a vehicle a bit bigger than a compact car, and/or someone that wants a sportier sedan. The Malibu starts at $21,625 and comes in 10 different colors.
