Thursday Thoughts: I Refuse

I refuse…

To not allow my broken heart to heal

To think every person I have a relationship with in the future is a cheater

To go back to a life that I was miserable in

To be my own worst enemy

To be taken for granted and used

To be thin skinned and let meaningless words from meaningless people affect me

To not ever forget to appreciate the beauty of my surroundings

To fail at what I love doing

To let anyone get in the way of my goals and dreams

To waste any of my days being sad, mad, and dwelling on the past

To allow anyone to suck the life out of me and kill my spirit

To crush my want and need for spontaneity

To ever let my family down and always be there for them

To keep my heart open to love and keep my mind open for opportunity

To let negativity get the best of me

To let anyone that is dear to me feel alone

To ignore or ever let go of my passions

To not let anyone persuade me that my spiritual beliefs aren’t realistic

This is my life, my will, and despite what I have been through…I am taking charge of it.

Every woman should refuse the same!!! You are so inspiring! I wish you were Houston!!! Have you considered speaking maybe at Women’s shelters or places that help young ladies get out of bad relationships? I think it’s your calling. Your testimony is growing. Your journey is worth sharing! HUGS!!!
