I received a Konjac Beauty Sponge by Oleavine (a leading anti-aging and skincare beauty company) to review. This was the first time I used this type of sponge; when I first opened the package the sponge was very hard and not flexible at all. Once I dampened it, it was extremely soft to the touch and quickly became hydrated. I felt the sponge cleansed my skin, but not a full deep cleanse like when I use my cleanser. It says it’s great for sensitive skin, but in my opinion, cleansing sensitive skin types with sponges daily can actually be a bit too aggressive. The Konjac Beauty Sponge is made with Kojac fibers and is free from chemicals. Though it did last long, I wasn’t a fan on how it smelled after a few uses. If you are a fan of sponge cleansers give it a try.
